After meeting at the airport early in the morning, the flight to Zurich takes place. Upon arrival, a panoramic city tour is held in Zurich, one of Switzerland’s most important cities. Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches, St. Peterskirche, and Bahnhofstrasse are seen before continuing to Lucerne. After visiting the Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge, and the area around Lake Lucerne, the group checks in at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, the group departs for Technorama Science Center. Participants attend science demonstrations and pre-planned workshops. Afterwards, Rhine Falls, one of Europe’s largest waterfalls, is visited. The program then continues to Bern, a UNESCO World Heritage city, where a city tour is held around the Clock Tower, Old Town, Parliament Building, and Parliament Square.
After breakfast, the group departs for Geneva via Lausanne and Montreux. Upon arrival, a panoramic Geneva tour is held around Lake Geneva, Mont Blanc Bridge, the Great Cathedral, the United Nations and Red Cross buildings, Notre-Dame, and the Old Town. After free time, the group transfers to the hotel.
After breakfast, the group visits CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research. At the Globe area, the Universe of Particles presentation is viewed; participants receive information about CERN’s history, superconducting magnets, proton acceleration, and the ATLAS Detector. Following the scientific program, participants attend an educational presentation and experiment program in physics, chemistry, biology, or mathematics at the Sciencescope section of the University of Geneva.
After breakfast at the hotel, the rooms are vacated and the group departs for Milan. Upon arrival, important landmarks such as the Duomo di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Arco della Pace, and Castello Sforzesco are seen panoramically. After the city tour, free time is provided at an outlet shopping center, and in the evening the group transfers to the hotel on the route to Venice.
After breakfast, the group departs for Venice by private coach. As part of the program, St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, the Grand Canal, and the Rialto Bridge are visited. Afterwards, Venice’s historic and romantic canals are explored from the water with a gondola ride. After free time, the group returns to the hotel.
After breakfast, the group travels to Pisa, where the Leaning Tower, Campo dei Miracoli, and the Baptistery are visited. The program then continues to Florence, where the Arno River, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi area, the Baptistery of San Giovanni, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, and Palazzo della Signoria are seen panoramically. In the final part of the day, Siena’s historic medieval streets and squares are explored.
After breakfast, the Rome city tour begins. The Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica, Piazza Venezia, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Trajan’s Forum, Circus Maximus, the Vittoriano Monument, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps are visited before free time is provided. At the scheduled time, the group transfers to the airport, and the program ends with the return flight.
